What do I need to get a cabinet quote?

We will need a copy of your final plans & job site address to start with a basic bid. We will email the bid to you.

What happens after I accept your bid?

After the basic bid & your job is in progress, the bid process gets more detailed. Our CAD Designer sends you a questionnaire for appliance specs, & details you want for your cabinets. Pictures from magazines or Pinterest are helpful. Share as much details as you can & we’ll guide you through the rest. A custom bid is prepared & sent for your review. When the cabinet design & bid are accepted a deposit is required to put job in production.

Can I add specialty items like appliqués, storage areas, wine racks etc?

Your cabinets can be as customized as you like. We have many specialty items such as decorative feet & legs, corbels, appliqués & rosettes, vanity organizers, jewelry trays, spice pullouts, wine racks, & more. Unless specified beforehand, these 
special features may not be included in the initial bid price but any additional charges as a result of added features will be discussed and approved with you prior to production. 

Do you make more than cabinets?

Yes, we make mantles, islands, entertainment centers, desks, kid drops, gun racks, bars, outdoor kitchens, and custom closet features to name a few.

How long does it take to built cabinets for an average size home?

When a job goes into production it takes about 1 week to complete an average size job.

Is finishing offered?

Wooden Specialties does not do finishing. We can recommend a finisher that works well with us. Our customer will meet with finisher on colors, type of finish & receive a quote from him. We coordinate our schedules & deliver cabinets to finisher. Finishing process averages 10-14 days. He brings the finished cabinets to job site & we install. The finisher goes to the job site for touch ups.

Is Wooden Specialties’ insured?

Yes, we have General Liability insurance to protect your job site during installation & all workers are full time employees covered under Worker’s Comp for accident or injury.

How far do you travel?

We usually install in a 50 mile area but have completed jobs as far as 130 miles. An extended delivery fee is applicable.

Is hardware included in the price?

Yes all functional hardware is included in the original bid including Blum Euro Hinges. A decorative hardware allowance is also included for up to four dollars per door and drawer. If you pick any knobs or drawer pulls that go over the allowance or decide to provide your own we will still credit you the four dollars per door and drawer.
